Fatal Crash

OPP say a Dryden man is dead after a head-on collision between a pickup truck and a tractor trailer early Sunday morning.
Police say 43-year-old Mark Lukacin was pronounced dead at the crash scene on Highway 17 near Thunder Lake Road.
Police are still investigating why the pickup he was driving crossed the centre line and collided with the transport.
The Edmonton-based transport driver was taken to Dryden Hospital with serious injuries.
Highway 17 was shut down for 90 minutes in the overnight hours.
Police say the transport, still in the ditch, will be towed from the scene today.
