Provincial Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, about 15 kilometres east of Ignace.
The crash was reported around 4:30 Thursday morning and involved three transports.
Pictures released by OPP show a large section of the Trans-Canada covered in lumber.
Highway 17 remains closed in both directions between Shabaqua and in Ignace at 599.
It’s not known when the road will reopen.
No other details have been released.
