Fatal Crash in Balmertown

A 45-year-old man is dead following a single vehicle crash at Golf Course Road in Balmertown.
OPP say sometime Sunday night a van struck a dock and flipped over on its roof at the entrance of the Ice Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene and attempted to resuscitate the man however Police say Michael Krawczuk of Thunder Bay was pronounced dead at the scene.
Staff Sergeant Brian Bennett says the area is extremely slippery and Police believe Krawczuk lost control while trying to negotiate a turn.
