Fatal Crash Leads to Charges Against OPP Officer

The Special Investigations Unit believes a provincial police
officer based in Thunder Bay is criminally responsible for the death
of an 18-year-old woman.
Sergeant Darryl Storey and Jasmine Veneruzzo were involved in a
car crash on December 3rd, and the woman sustained fatal injuries.
Storey has been charged with criminal negligence causing death
and dangerous driving causing death.
He is to appear in court on March 5th.
