A 35-year-old Kitchener woman is dead following a two vehicle collision on Highway 17 between Dryden and Kenora.
The crash took place near the intersection of Highway 605 in Oxdrift Monday morning when a westbound car collided with an eastbound pick-up truck.
The driver of the truck sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital in Dryden for treatment, but the driver of the car died as a result of the crash.
She has been identified as Rosanne O’Brien.
The Trans-Canada was closed for over 5-hours as a result of the collision.
