A 33-year-old man is dead following a two vehicle collision on Highway 11-17, just west of Thunder Bay.
The crash occured around 9:05 Thursday morning.
Provincial Police say a westbound car crossed the centre line and struck an eastbound transport.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The operator of the tractor trailer unit was examined by paramedics and released.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Bishop Racicot of Thunder Bay.
The highway was closed for a majority of the day due to the crash.
