The RCMP in eastern Manitoba are investigating a fatal house fire.
The Sprague Detachment responded to the blaze in the small community of Badger around 6:00 Saturday morning.
The house was already engulfed in flames by the time emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The body of one person was found inside the home.
The cause is under investigation.
The incident follows fatal house fires in Oshawa, Ontario and Nova Scotia.
The Oshawa blaze claimed four lives, including two kids, while four children under the age of seven died in the Nova Scotia fire.
