Two people are dead after the crash of an ultra-light aircraft near Thunder Bay.
The victims were in a two-seater craft that went down after taking off from a private airstrip at Kakabeka Falls last night.
62-year-old Dennis Sylvester of Pass Lake and 47-year-old Claude Demers of Sudbury were pronounced dead at the scene.
Sylvester was the owner of Sylveste-Air, which was based out of the airstrip.
Transportation Safety Board Investigators are checking reports the plane stalled before it crashed into a field.
