Fatality In Sioux Lookout Results In Arrest

Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout have made an arrest in connection to a fatality in the community.
OPP say a 29-year-old woman was found in medical distress Tuesday morning.
Despite efforts from paramedics, Deidre Patayash from Weagamow Lake died at the scene.
Police say 32-year-old Alvin Ash has been arrested following an investigation.
The Cat Lake resident has been charged with assault.
The cause of death hasn’t been released and a post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday.
