Father’s Day is tomorrow and if you don’t have any plans, Fort Vermilion has you covered.
There will be a car show, the fire department will show the kids their truck, there will be vendors and an open mic as well.
Spokesperson Samantha Hawkins says the event keeps growing as they originally planned on hosting the event from 2-6pm, but since so many events have been added the event will run from 11am to 6pm and possibly later.
Hawkins also says Father’s Day is a tradition at the Fort to allow Dads a time to relax and have a burger and a beer.
