Federal Boundary Changes In Northern Ontario

It’s official.
No changes will be made to the Kenora Riding in the next federal election.
The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission has released its final report to the House of Commons.
It does not recommend any changes to the Kenora Riding, after hearing feedback from local residents last year.
A number of people from Lake of the Woods Township complained about being moved into the Kenora Riding.
According to the final report, the Township will stay in the Thunder Bay-Rainy River Riding.
That riding will also see no changes.
Thunder Bay-Superior North will be expanded to include White River.
