Federal Conservative Leader Stops In Kenora

He thinks Ontario is winnable.

Conservative leader Andrew Scheer was the guest of party-faithful in Kenora on Friday afternoon.

Scheer says the Conservatives can win the province.

“People who were the architects of the Liberal government of Ontario Kathleen Wynne are working now for Justin Trudeau. So we’re very optimistic that people are going to put an end to scandals, an end to the corruption, put an end to the hikes by voting Conservative.”

Scheer notes “there is a real cost of living crunch and Justin Trudeau has made life more expensive by imposing a carbon tax that’s going to hit people in this area very hard.”

A federal election is widely expected this October.
