Today is election day. (Monday, October 21st)
Local polls will be open from 8:30am until 8:30pm.
In order to cast a ballot, you need to present a valid drivers licence or any other card issued by a Canadian government with your photo, name and current address.
Alternatively, you can vote by showing two pieces of ID including your health card, a status card or bank statement as long as one has your current address.
Although it’s not required, it is recommended that you bring your voter information card to make the process run more smoothly.
Names on the ballot in the Kenora riding include Liberal Bob Nault, Conservative Eric Melillo, Rudy Turtle of the NDP, Kirsi Ralko of the Green party, Independent Kelvin Boucher-Chicago and Michael Di Pasqaule of the People’s Party of Canada.
