Federal Funding for Area Youth

The Federal Government is assisting more then 30 youth in Dryden and
Red Lake.
Human Resources Minister Belinda Stronach has handed the Cresive
Corporation $304,000 to help kids with barriers find employment.
Participants will take part in a 14-week workshop and then will be
placed with an employer for another 11-weeks of job experience.
The Feds say the goal is to help area youth acquire the skills needed
to enter the labour market or return to school.
