Federal Gun Registry a Top Prority Says MP

Opponents of the Federal Gun Registry will love this news!
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says a bill to kill the registry will be one of the first pieces of Legislation presented for the Fall sitting.
MP’s are back in Ottawa for work and Rickford says he’s hoping for speedy passage.
Rickford hopes to put an end to the long-standing issue by the end of the year.
He notes it will all depend on what games the opposition play, noting its an issue that continues to divide the NDP.
Rickford is also expecting to push through the Safe Water Drinking Act, a piece of Legislation that will see quality water in every First Nation community.
