FedNor is providing one million dollars to support the new Tec Hub at Confederation College in Thunder Bay.
The money will be used to purchase new equipment for the school’s trades and tech programs.
School President Jim Madder says the funding pushes them more than half way through their goal of five million plus for equipment for the new building.
The provincial Northern Ontario Heritage Fund also provided funding.
