FedNor Investments Strengthen Red Lake Economy

Diversifying and strengthing the Red Lake economy.
That’s what a FedNor investment of $84,008 will do for the municipality.
FedNor Minister Greg Rickford says $45,000 of the total amount will go towards conducting an engineering study for the development of a multi-community trail network.
The trail system would link Balmertown, Red Lake, Cochenour, Madsen and Starratt-Olsen.
Rickford says the system will benefit peoples health and act as a tourism attraction.
The remaining $39,008 will assist with upgrading the docks in the community.
