Feds Asked To Help Reduce Aboriginal Child Welfare Rates

The Canadian Council of Child and Youth Advocates is urging the federal government to take action and reduce the number of aboriginal children in the child welfare system.
The group is calling for a national initiative that measures and reports on child welfare, education and health outcomes for aboriginal children and youth.
The Council is also requesting a First Ministers conference on the issue.
