Local residents have chimed in as the City of Dryden looks at revamping its animal control rules.
One area being looked at is easing restrictions on the number of dogs you can keep in your home.
Currently you are allowed to possess only two canines in your residence.
Staff are recommending a limit of no more than five dogs.
However, in a CKDR News poll, 78% of respondents said to keep the limit at 2.
8% are content with capping the number at 5.
Another 8% like the notion of no limit, but higher licence fees for the number of dogs you keep.
6% believe no limit is the way to go.
Another staff recommendation requires all dogs to be on a leash, no longer than two metres.
