Festival Of Trees Begins Today

Today marks the start of the Festival Of Trees in Dryden.
All events are taking place at the Center, and begin at 1:15pm with local entertainers and refreshments.
Admission is free for all seniors.
Local musicians include Lesley Nuttall, Gord and Osvalda Franklin, Neil Moody and the L&J Toe Tappers, Ken and Jeannette Denby with two bands, Sounds of the Steppes and Boarderline.
There will be a coffee house from 6:30-9pm, with a silver collection.

On Friday from 10am-4pm, there will be displays set up as well as the Dove Tree. Donations can be made in memory of a deceased love one. Tickets will also be available for the penny auction.
From 7-9pm, there will be wine and food tasting with local music. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at Ella Lynn’s.

The events wind down on Saturday with a Winter Wonderland Luncheon and a fall fashion show from 11am-2pm. Limited tickets are available at Ella Lynn’s.
From 4-6pm, there will be a family movie night, featuring “Arthur’s Christmas”. Admission is two dollars.
Santa will also be there, so don’t forget to bring your cameras.
The penny sale draws will be held at 6pm.
