The Centre in Dryden has been transformed into a Christmas winter wonderland.
The 2019 Festival of Trees is underway.
Colleen Hill is the Project Support worker with Patricia Region Senior Services and she was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today. (Tuesday)
Hill says the popular yuletide tradition supports seniors through various community programs.
“Transportation through My Lift and we also have a Home Health program that supports the seniors in their own home. We have a Community Maintenance program. We have Meals on Wheels. These are all available to seniors.”
One of the highlights is the Dove Tree where anyone can make a donation in memory of a deceased loved one.
You can also visit the Centre from now until December 5th and take part in the Penny Auction.
