FF residents getting tax hike 2

Property owners in Fort Frances will see their taxes rise this year, likely a little less than three percent.

Mayor Dan Onichuk and council met Thursday afternoon to discuss the budget, but two key numbers are missing.

Onichuk said they are waiting for the numbers from Rainycrest and the District social services boards…

Onichuk stressed the numbers for Rainycrest and DSSAB are due by the end of March.

He reminds residents that the cost of inflation is running just over two percent.
