Dryden Council is considering providing a security guarantee to help
get the proposed Lifelease Housing Complex off the ground.
In case tenants default on a unit, the City would guarantee the
financing of 5-units, so construction can continue.
Council is also considering 2-other options including purchasing
2-units and donating them to the Hospital to house locums and health care
professionals.
The City is also considering providing services in kind such as
curbing, paving and landscaping up to $300,000.
Some sort of resolution is expected to be approved next Tuesday.
Finally Some Progress with Lifelease Project
