Financial Support for Fibratech

The Provincial Government is paving the way for the Fibratech Mill in
Atikokan to make capital investments and reduce operating costs.
$3.6-million will be used to purchase new equipment and
conduct efficiency upgrades.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says the cash will help Atikokan’s
economic foundation.
Mauro says investing the forest industry will help create opportunities
for future investment in the sector.
A truck dumper as well as a blender unit and burner will be purchased
to help maintain employment levels.
