Ontario’s largest forest fire continues to burn.
Nipigon Fire #20 started Monday and now covers more than 14,000
hectares of land, northwest of Nakina.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie McLean says
strong winds and dry conditions aren’t helping fire crews.

Fortunately the fire is burning in an unpopulated area however it is
threatening Buchanen’s harvested wood supply.
McLean says they are trying to slow down the blaze by conducting back
burning.
