Fire Fighters Returning Home

Some 100 Fire Personnel and Staff based in Northwestern Ontario are returning from British Columbia.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Travis Moffatt says the situation out west is improving and the returning crews won’t be replaced.
After 2 weeks of action, Moffatt notes they will likely get a bit of a rest.
The Fire Hazard is low to moderate in this region.
4 water bombers have also returned and Moffatt says the MNR is prepared to send additional support if a request is made.
