FireRanger crews continue to chip away at the active fire load across the region.
There were four new fires reported Monday, pushing the number of blazes currently burning up to 78.
Only six are considered not under control.
The fire hazard is low to moderate across the northwest.
However, officials are anticipating things to rebound due to high drought levels, warm and dry conditions and new lightning starts.
Thunderstorms over the past five days have resulted in over 32,000 lightning strikes.
