The warm, dry weather in Northwestern Ontario has led to an increase
in the fire hazard.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has responded to 5-new fires this
past week.
Information Officer Debbie McLean says campers can enjoy outdoor fires but notes they need to be
kept small and put dead out before leaving.
The fire hazard currently sits at moderate to high across the region.
