Fire Season Has Arrived

The forest fire season is officially here but you would never know it by looking outside.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie MacLean admits it’s going to be a slow start to the season but note staff are in place and ready to go.
The MNR had reported 14-fires before the season started at this time last year.
The MNR is working with a budget of about $60-million this year.
