Fire Season Quieting Down

The Ministry of Natural Resources has been busy this season, responding
to 447-fires, which have covered more than 31,000 hectares of land.
Information Officer Mitch Miller says spring started off with a bang,
but was cooled down with damp weather.
The official end to the season is October 31st, however fire activity
is expected to die down.
