Fire Season Roundup

Another busy summer for fire crews in Northwestern Ontario.
645-blazes have been recorded across the region with three weeks left in the season.
Most were sparked by lightning.
Firefighters also helped battle blazes in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Oregon.
The summer of 2002 will also be remembered for major fires in the Red Lake, Amesdale and Pickle Lake areas.
