This is Emergency Preparedness Week and the Dryden Fire Service is out with a few tips.
Information Officer Reagan Breeze says residents should prepare a 72-hour emergency kit with non-perishable food, water, cash and toiletries.
Breeze notes it may take up to 72-hours for emergency crews to provide help in the event of an incident.
Breeze says you should also plan and practice an emergency escape plan.
