Ministry of Natural Resources fire crews had their hands full on the
weekend thanks to the intense heat.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says crews had to cover a lot of
ground as the blazes spanned an area from Kenora to Nipigon.

The largest fire was in the Red Lake area, only 6-hectares in size.
19-fires are still considered active but pose no threat.
