Ministry of Natural Resources fire crews had their busiest weekend of
the summer.
Over the last 2-days, the MNR says there were 57-wildfires reported
in the Region.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says almost all of the new fires
were caused by lightning strikes and he notes high winds and dry
conditions are making a difficult situation even worse.
Moffatt notes the most severe fires are in the Thunder Bay area.
