Northwestern Ontario’s largest forest fire has resulted in the
evacuation of 255 elderly and children from the First Nation Community of
Fort Hope.
The lightning caused blaze was sparked Friday about 250-kilometres
north of Nipigon.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Travis Moffatt says
they are gaining the upper hand.
