Firearms And Ammunition Seized In Fort Severn

Two people are in custody after Nishnawbe Aski Police seized 12-firearms as well as ammunition in Fort Severn First Nation. Officers executed a search warrant last Friday. A pair of unnamed individuals have been charged with careless storage of a firearm and ammunition, unauthorized and knowledge of possessing a firearm and two counts of possession of a firearm obtained by crime.
