Firefighters Could Be Busy

The Ministry of Natural Resources in the Northwest District are on high
alert for the Canada Day long weekend.
Aircrafts will be making aerial detection patrols across the Region
and Information Officer Debbie McLean says the public can do their part by
taking the normal precautions.
The fire hazard is currently high across the District.
MacLean adds they’re also planning on sending additional staff and
resources to help fight fires in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
