The Ministry of Natural Resources is helping its western neighbours as a number of firefighters left Northwestern Ontario on the weekend.
40-firefighters, 15-officials, as well as various equipment are in Williams Lake, B.C. to help battle a number of large fires.
20-firefighters are in Kamloops, B.C.
The MNR also sent 20-firefighters, power pumps and sprinkler kits to Northern Saskatchewan.
5-crews, 2-waterbombers and an aircraft are in Northern Manitoba.
The forest fire hazard is low to moderate in our area.
