FIREFLY in Kenora/Rainy River has been awarded Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada.
The summary report states the local child care provider has gone beyond the requirements of the program and demonstrates excellence in quality improvement.
The organization says it decided to participate in the Accreditation because they recognize the need to improve the quality of their services, decrease risks for their clients and staff and focus on improving services.
CEO Karen Ingebrigtson says the achievement shows that everyone at FIREFLY works incredibly hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and families with the highest level of quality every day.
