FIREFLY takes part in One Stop Talk network

FIREFLY says it’s now part of a provincial counselling network.

The regional child care agency has six counsellors available for the One Stop Talk network.

This is a free virtual and confidential counselling service for youth up to the age of 17.

The focus for each session is a single issue, but there is no limit how many time the service can be accessed.

If additional or ongoing counselling is needed youth will be referred to local services.

The Ministry of Health is providing funding for the initiative.

Youth can either visit www.onestoptalk.ca or call 1-855-416-8255.

The One Stop Talk network is available Monday to Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and from 11 am to 3 pm Central Standard time on Saturdays.
