First Nation Communities in the Far North are feeling the effects of
the extreme fire situation in Northwestern Ontario.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Bob Thomas says
they have been forced to evacuate hundreds of people.

Thomas says the evacuations are mostly due to heavy smoke however
crews have their eye on the blaze near Deer Lake as its inching closer to
the community.
More then 400-fires continue to burn across the Region.
