The prime minister and all the premiers sat down at a news conference in Ottawa after signing a climate change agreement for Canada.
Trudeau spoke about national clean fuel standards, and targets set for Canada to be using 90-percent of clean energy sources by 2030.
Brad Wall from Saskatchewan and Brian Pallister from Manitoba were the only ones who did not sign.
Wall says his province’s economy depends far too much on the carbon industry to add another tax, in spite of many telling him the deal is revenue neutral.
Most of the premiers seemed to brag their provinces lead the way on carbon reduction, including Kathleen Wynne who admitted Ontario residents are paying more to reduce carbon.
