The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund has come up with $200,000 which will be spent in Sandy Lake First Nation.
The funding will allow another 68 homes to be connected to the community sewar and water system, a project which has been marked as a high priority by band council.
They will join 400 homes already hooked into the system.
