First Nations Graduate From Summer Program

The province in partnership with Confederation College and Lakehead University are helping create jobs for First Nation youth.

52 Aboriginal youth from 30 First Nations communities took part in a two-year summer employment program.

They graduated recently.

Teens from 16 to 19 used the summer to gain natural resource management experience through work projects in the forestry, mining and energy industries.
