First Real Shot Of Winter Coming

A special weather statement is in effect for northwestern Ontario.
Snow, rain and snow pellets are in the forecast Friday.
CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says we’ll be getting a real shot of winter.
Laidlaw adds temperatures will be plunging across the region, with highs for the weekend in negative territory.
He stresses roads will be extremely slippery starting tonight.
Snowfall amounts will be around 10-centimetres.
