The Northern Ontario rink has its first win at the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship in Edmonton.
The Wayne Ficek rink dumped Saskatchewan 11-4 Tuesday night in Draw #3.
Dryden’s Mark Wherrett, Chester Draper and Cindy Hoffstrom are representing the Northern team.
The local rink is back on the ice today (Wednesday) at 2:00 central against Ontario.
