First Winner of Owen Lindsay Memorial Award

A Thunder Bay resident is the first recepient of the Owen Lindsay
Memorial Award.
Lindsay was known as “Mister Atikokan” and was committed to social
justice and social democracy causes.
The Award will be given out on a yearly basis to Northerners who best
exemplify the ideals of social justice.
Margaret Kerr is this years winner.
