Fishery Advisory Council in Northwestern Ontario

The Government is establishing Fishery Advisory Councils for the
Province’s 17-management zones.
Thunder Bay will act as the pilot project for the Northwest Region
this year.
Ministry of Natural Resources Biologist Mark Sobchuck says the
volunteer group will play a large role in the future of area fisheries.
Sobchuck says the number one issue is maintaining the high quality of
fishing in this region.
