Fishing Changes

The Provincial Government has streamlined the number of fishing
divisions across Ontario to enhance the quality of recreation fishing.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has reduced the number of zones from 37 to 20, with 8 areas set aside in the Northwest Region.
The new divisions will make it easier for anglers to understand
fishing regulations.
The changes are scheduled to take effect in the new year.
