A fishing guide from Thunder Bay needs to review Ontario fishing laws.
Scott Baxter was fined a thousand dollars for possession of ten over-sized bass.
Early in June conservation officers stopped Baxter and three people he was guiding at the Marmion Lake landing, north of Atikokan.
Baxter claimed responsibility for catching all ten over-sized bass on board.
According to Ontario fishing regulation between January first and June thirtieth there is a limit of two bass.
Those two bass must be less than thirty-five centimeters in length.
